Trotters Testimonials

"Hi Darren

I'd like to say a big thank you for the fools and horses hearse. I kept it a secret from all the family and when they saw the hearse everyone was amazed. It made everyone laugh because they knew that my husband Jimmy Sudworth would have loved it. The number of people who said they'd never seen anything like it before I can't tell you. Even though it was a sad and funny day you did everything with dignity and respect. I really appreciate what you did and I'm sure it will be the talk of wigan for a long time to come."

Thanks again regards Margaret Sudworth

" Hi there. I just thought I would let everyone know just how amazing the service Darren offers is. After traveling nearly 300 miles to get to us Darren and his company turned the day into a real celebration. Instead of tears, we had laughter, just the way dad would have wanted it. The car performed faultlessly, even up to some long steep inclines Darren just cruised along, arm out the window, and led the procession perfectly. The reaction of people along the way was priceless, even had a round of applause, although we did have Batman and Robin helping too! Darren even put the blowup doll in the back window for us, first class!!! If you are thinking about this do it. You won't regret it I promise you!! Darren and team, I wish you every success in the future. Who knows, this time next year you might be millionaires!!!
Kindest regards
Scott, Gemma, Ben, and family. Xx."

"The reaction from people is priceless," he said. "It makes everyone laugh and smile. It's always the worse thing waiting for the hearse to arrive, but when we turn up, it turns it into a celebration of life. The people always say to me they're sure their loved one is looking down and laughing. That's what it is all about. Life's too short."

"The funny thing is we don’t even know if Ethel was a fan of Only Fools
and Horses. We just know she was a funny woman and liked a laugh. She would have loved it. She had a wicked sense of humour. It was a wonderful funeral with lots of laughs and memories."

"My dad always just wanted people to be happy and to put a smile on people’s faces, so it was great that we were able to do that for him. Dad was a huge fan of the programme. He particularly loved that scene when Del Boy falls through the bar and also the scene with the chandelier."

In the news!

"Mr and Mrs Smith didn’t tell many people, including John’s sister Joanne, 26, about the arrangements they had made for the Only Fools and Horses hearse to carry their son’s coffin in a wish to bring a smile to the faces of John’s friends and family.
He used to call me a plonker, when he was younger. He loved Del Boy and Rodney and knew all the lines.

We wanted to give our son the best funeral we could," said TJ Walsh bus driver Brian."
